Andy Kirkpatrick, the best world climber from Hull, got this advice from a taxi driver after helping him carrying all the bags needed to go up the “Reticent Wall” route in “El Capitan”. In a shorter way, even hard workers, as horses are, have a limit. Writing a blog is far different from climbing alone a 21 days time route rated VI 5.9 A5. Sorry, I am also as you in this point. I don’t know exactly what those letters and numbers mean. I have only using the French classification in my climbing career. According to this system the hardest route done by now is 9c (it goes from 5a, 5a+, 5b, 5b+, 5c, 5c+, 6a …) In any case the route is one of the most difficult ones. My blog is not. I am not going to try to convince anybody. It’s only that my eyes are already close to their limit, but on the other side. Keep on using a smart phone to do this is not a good idea. And battery is running out… Sleep well.
